The Interuniversity Speech Contest of Hong Kong and Macau, organized every year in March as part of the Francophonie Festival, will take place on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. This year, the contest will be held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), which is the partner university for this edition.

The topics for the speech contest reflect the theme of the 2026 Francophonie Festival: “anticipation.” The selected topics are as follows:

A2/B1: Describe daily life in 2050. 

B2: Is artificial intelligence a danger to human societies?
